Frank Kendall McCord, a beloved Detroit police officer and dedicated family man, tragically passed away on April 13, 2026, leaving his loved ones and the community in mourning. He was 58 years old.

Born on May 17, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan, Frank led a life defined by service, love, and unwavering commitment to both his family and his community. After graduating from Hamtramck High School in 1985, Frank began his career with the Hamtramck Police Department as a reserve officer in 1988. He later joined the Detroit Police Department in 1994, where he served with honor and integrity, touching many lives with his dedication.

In 2013, Frank married his wife, Donna Baugh, and together they built a life full of love and joy. Frank was a devoted father to his six children and stepson, who were the center of his world.

In a post shared by Aaron McCord, a family member, Frank was remembered as "a protector, a brother in blue, and a follower of Jesus Christ." The McCord family is currently seeking support for funeral and unexpected expenses through a GoFundMe campaign.
